With momentum on his side from a great weekend in Charlotte, Morgan Kane looked to close out the month of January with another strong performance. After some time spent at the shop back in Virginia Beach, Kane and crew chief Gary Wiggins ventured to Washington, DC for four shows in three days at the Verizon Center. The Stone Crusher was running great all weekend and Morgan Kane was on his game for all four events. Kane continued to show his great wheelie skills as he picked up two second place wheelie contest finishes on the weekend. In racing Kane showed last weekend’s successes were no fluke, as Kane was quick off the line all weekend. After two semi-final round appearances, Kane broke through on Saturday night to get his first win of the weekend. On Sunday Kane picked up where he left off and picked up yet another racing win. While freestyle didn’t bring Kane any victories, it certainly wasn’t for a lack of effort. All weekend long Kane pushed the Stone Crusher to it’s limits in freestyle. While the smaller hockey floor didn’t have the bigger obstacles the major stadium events, Kane still skied out the Stone Crusher with plenty of big leaps all weekend long, showing why he’s one of the sport’s rising young stars.
This weekend Morgan Kane and the Stone Crusher will be in new territory, as they visit Chattanooga, Tennessee for the first time. Be sure to check out the schedule for where we’ll be next and don’t forget to get your Stone Crusher gear before the next event by visiting our merchandise section.
